The ISARS2018 will take place in the main building (see map) of the University of Cologne, lecture hall 2.

Directions

Arrival by Train

From Cologne Central Station

Take the subway/tram lines 16 or 18 to the stop Neumarkt, from there take subway/tram line 9 in the direction “Sülz” to the stop Universität.

You can buy tickets on the platform or inside the train.

The ride takes approximately 20 minutes.

A taxi from Cologne Central Station to the university costs approximately 15 €.

Arrival by plane

From Cologne Bonn airport

Take either the S-Bahn line S13 (20-minute intervals), a regional train or an intercity/intercity express (IC/ICE) to Cologne Central Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. 

A taxi ride costs about 25 € (approx. 20 km).

From Cologne Central Station, take the subway/tram lines 16 or 18 to the stop Neumarkt, from there take subway/tram line 9 in the direction “Sülz” to the stop Universität.

From Düsseldorf International Airport

Take the overhead railway “SkyTrain” to the Düsseldorf Airport train station. Connect with a regional train (e.g. RegionalExpress 1 or 5) or an intercity/intercity express (IC/ICE) to Cologne Central Station. The direct connection takes about 40 minutes. 

A taxi ride costs about 75 € (approx. 50 km).

From Cologne Central Station, take the subway/tram lines 16 or 18 to the stop Neumarkt, from there take subway/tram line 9 in the direction “Sülz” to the stop Universität.

From Frankfurt Airport

Take an intercity/intercity express (IC/ICE) to Cologne Central Station. The ICE travel time is about 60 minutes. 

The entire journey takes about 85 minutes.

From Cologne Central Station, take the subway/tram lines 16 or 18 to the stop Neumarkt, from there take subway/tram line 9 in the direction “Sülz” to the stop Universität.
